Meet Mob Mama

Mob Mama™ is a Mafia Princess, writer, and women’s advocate. Born into a multigenerational crime family, she is one of the first women in her family to escape with her life. She lived under mafia rule for more than five decades, including forced silence, financial control, isolation, and, on one occasion, fear for her life and a plan to flee the country.

Her Dixie Mafia family was allied with organized crime interests in Cuba and major figures in the American Mafia, including Carlos Marcello in New Orleans, Santo Trafficante Jr. in Tampa, and Frank Costello in New York. In later years, they were involved with the Medellín Cartel of Colombia. Their primary operations included drug trafficking, gambling, and money laundering. They also had notable involvement in American politics.

She is currently writing a memoir, Omertà, My Ass, and conducting research for a book about mafia-involved drug trafficking in the South.

She lives in Colorado with her blind pug, Georgie.
